Early Career Framework
Ladywood Teaching School are delighted to confirm that we are working in partnership with The Education Development Trust and the roll out of the Early Career Framework (ECF).
This support package for teachers, new to the profession, has been created as a two year cross phase programme, designed to support teachers with high quality support material and a robust mentor system.
It is the intention of the DfE to roll out the programme from Sept 2020 ( given the current COVID 19 crisis)
The programme is designed and incorporates elements of face to face sessions/ mentor led sessions / webinars/ online and self-study materials.
The ECF is designed to further raise the quality of teachers and teaching as well as improving the retention rates within the profession thus impacting on quality of education and life chances for our children and young people.
Please note that the ECF is fully funded by the DfE and therefore comes at no direct cost to the school.
Please note that Bolton will remain the Appropriate Body
