Environment

The creative use of the environment at Ladywood meets the needs of all our pupils. It engages, challenges and encourages them to be active learners.

We are always exploring how our facilities can be used as a dynamic resource to enhance the learning for individual children, small groups and whole classes.

We recognise our children require a personalied approach to their learning to develop them physically, socially, emotionally and academically, therefore reaching their full potential. This is achieved through;

Ladywood promotes a ‘Total Communication’ rich environment where children are encouraged to have a voice in their learning.

All areas of Ladywood School provide a stimulating environment which can be used to reinforce the links between different areas of the curriculum.
