EYFS – Curriculum
At Ladywood our dynamic EYFS curriculum has a high focus on communication, social interaction and life skills and is designed to give our young learners the best possible start to life at Ladywood School.

Pupils are engaged through well planned exploratory and functional play, active learning and learning is personalised to meet the diverse needs of our pupils.
Our communication rich curriculum and learning environment ensures that pupil’s develop the necessary skills to succeed and participate wholly in learning.
Phonics, reading, writing and mathematics are embedded in all areas of the EYFS curriculum and are taught through discrete adult-led activities.
Our curriculum is rich and fully embraces all areas of learning giving our pupils breadth and depth of learning.
