Who are our Partners?
We work closely with a number of partner schools to offer an Outstanding Teaching and Learning experience for teachers and leaders at all stages of their career. Our Strategic Partners are Rivington and Blackrod High School and Sixth Form, The Oaks CP School, Pikes Lane Primary School, St Saviours Primary School, Greenfold School at The Orchards Federation, Leverhulme Primary School, St Matthew's Little Lever, St James CE Secondary School, St Pauls C of E Secondary School, Thornleigh Salesian College, SSIG and Bolton Learning Alliance. We also work with over 20 schools and educational establishments to offer support with Initial Teacher Training and professional placements through School Direct.
Levels of Partnership engagement
Ladywood Teaching School Alliance is built on a strong commitment to collaboration and a shared moral purpose. Our Strategic Partners are all committed to this shared vision and as such provide strategic leadership and governance for the Teaching School Alliance. They meet regularly and over time are taking shared responsibility for the delivery of the Teaching School offer.
School Direct Partnership Schools:
School Direct Partnership schools are involved at all stages of the Initial Teacher Training Programme from recruitment and selection to the design and delivery of the programme.
School Direct Placement Schools:
School Direct Placement schools ensure that our trainees obtain an outstanding experience whilst on placement school ensuring they really are ready to be part of our local school community.
